On Saturday, February 21st, Unlimited's own Sean Climaco heads to Modesto, CA to fight in Way of the Warrior. Sean was born on May 14, 1994, and started training at the age of 14. In 2008, he made his way to AKA to train under Alex Khanbabian, then started fighting as an amateur under Daniel Kim at Fairtex in Newark. Sean made Unlimited MMA & Fitness his home last year.
Shouts out to Sean for taking the time to answer some of my questions:
Aileen: Who inspires you?
Sean: My inspiration are my parents. They've worked hard to raise me up coming from the Philippines and they motivate me to do the same.
A: What are some of the challenges you've come across?
S :The challenges I have come across is trying to balance everything in life with work, school, training, and spending time with loved ones. It can be tiring juggling through all, but I'm happy to still have my with the obligations in life.
A: What does it mean for you to be a fighter?
S: Fighters never stop and keep going forward, not only in the ring but in life as well
A: Do you have any advice for any young people who may want to take up fighting?
S: Be dedicated 100%
